The Spring Garden Hexie is here! A large crochet hexagon with pretty little flower patterns :)
This pattern contains descriptions for a full hexagon and a half hexagon. You can build all kinds of shapes with these two patterns.
The pattern for the whole Spring Garden Hexagon Blanket (shown on my instagram: intheyarngarden ) will soon be posted here on my blog as well.

Do not turn your work this time!
Ch 2 (image 1), make 44 sc's evenly spread out along the long side (image 1), ch 2, sl st in the top st of beginning ch-3 of round 11 (image 3).

Thank you! I'm very happy to hear that you like them :)
DeleteHi, Is it possible to make these hexagons smaller? I'd like to make your spring garden hexie blanket, but more as a long small table cloth. Can I just skip a few rounds? Thanks for your answer. Yvonne
ReplyDeleteHi! Yes, that would definitely be possible. You could try to skip round 5-7. Then you will have 3 st's less on each side of the flower hole patterns on each of the six sides. This will apply to all the flower pattern rounds. The complete hexagon would be 9 rounds. Have a great day!
DeleteThank you! I will have a go, totally love secret garden yarn and like your pattern with it.

ReplyDeleteI really like this pattern. Thank you for sharing. I have a question? Can this be done in a complete circle for a baby blanket?
ReplyDeleteHi! I’m happy to hear that you like the pattern :) I’m not entirely sure what you mean with a complete circle? You can of course make the hexagon larger by adding rows. I also have a full pattern for a baby blanket using the hexagons here: https://intheyarngarden.blogspot.se/2017/06/spring-garden-hexie-blanket.html?m=1
